November 14, 2022, Last Day Serving as a Planning Commissioner for the City of San Gabriel

Anagh has lived in San Gabriel for about 45 years. He attended local area schools.  Anagh enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, tennis, and swimming at the local parks and community center  

Anagh put himself through college and earned his first Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Cal State, LA College of Business and Economics. At Cal State LA, he studied computer software & hardware, marketing, economics, accounting, management, and finance. Anagh received his second Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona, College of Engineering.  At Cal Poly Pomona, he studied courses in water resources, survey, structure, transportation and soils. Anagh employed as a Civil Engineer by the City of Los Angeles.

As a Civil Engineer, Anagh’s primary goal is to build high-quality projects; deliver on time and under budget. Anagh works with stakeholders to maintain the integrity of the projects and identifies solutions by bringing partners together to ensure every project is completed with integrity. He mentors, trains, and supervises new engineering associates learning their role as engineers at the workplace.    

For the last four years, Anagh served as a Director for San Gabriel County Water District (District).  The District has worked diligently to maintain and improve service to the community.  Anagh works hard to help keep the water cost of the District low and looks for alternative ways to reduce impacts on the community.    

For about six years, Anagh has served as a Planning Commissioner for the City of San Gabriel. As a Planning Commissioner, he reviews and recommends new ordinances including the historical ordinance and housing ordinance. He analyzes the public works budget and advises the City Council on new development projects. Anagh approves new land-use designs and analyze reports when clarifications are required. His recommendations benefit his community and his neighbor’s directly, and he follows the governing laws set forth by the people.
